I don't like them either, the really small ones, sure they are cute when they walk over your hand, 'cause it tickles, but the big ones, i'll just shoo them outside.
I'm too much of a pansy to kill creatures, i'll just get them out of the house.

My pet tarantula appeared to be about as large as the pic CYA posted, but mine was a female Rosyhair, indegenous to southern Missouri and farther South (why, that would be Arkansas!), down thru Texas & I think into Mexico. She had at least a 6" legspan, could fill a small dinnerplate, but abdomen was smaller; size of a small egg. Lotsa defensive bristles on her backside to kick onto anything approaching from behind. Liked to eat pinky mice.
